Most Anticipated TV Shows of 2023

It is very difficult to predict the timing of television broadcasts. While movies can announce that they will be released years before the release date, TV series usually announce a few months before.

However, there are a few series that we know will air with new and sequel seasons confirmed. Based on some speculation, here is our list of the most anticipated TV series of 2023.

The Mandalorian (Season 3)

Release Date: February 2023

This is news that will excite Star Wars fans. Based on the Book by Boba Fett, The Mandalorian was confirmed in May at the Star Wars Celebration with a third season coming in February 2023. Warning spoilers: Grogu is back. After the finale of The Book of Boba Fett, she'll apparently set out to embark on action-packed adventures with Mando. Of course, our beloved Pedro Pescal will play the character.

Secret Invasion

Release Date: Spring 2023

Samuel L. Jackson returns to the Marvel world for the first time since Spider-Man: Far From Home, in which Nick Fury is seen enjoying a well-deserved vacation in space. Film; It focuses on a race of aliens called the "Skrulls" with shape-shifting abilities in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) – maybe you remember we met them before in Captain Marvel, yes those green guys – and they've been infiltrating Earth for years, according to the revelations. In fact, you can think of it as if a Skrull was impersonating Fury in Far From Home. (Leave Fury alone now!)

Loki (Season 2)

Release Date: Summer 2023

The multifaceted crazy madness, variants, travels between fragmented universes and alternative worlds that the MCU has adopted lately, especially in Loki. In the second season of Loki, he must return to the Time Variance Authority, a dark and dangerous organization that Loki (Tom Hiddleston) fell into and has apparently been taken over by Kang.

X-Men'97

Release Date: Autumn 2023

San Diego Comic-Con did a lot for Marvel fans, but none as exciting as the animated X-Men '97, the sequel to the classic X-Men: The Animated Series. (At one point, over twenty million viewers watched an episode of the show.) According to the SDCC statement, Magneto becomes the leader of the X-Men due to Professor X's absence and goes to another universe.

Ahsoka

Release Date Undetermined (2023)

Another news that will delight Star Wars lovers. Ahsoka; After introducing Ahsoka Tano, the popular character of the Star Wars Rebels and Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series, in The Mandalorian, she is getting ready to bring her back to the screen with her own series. Rosario Dawson will star in the Mandalorian spin-off. But even better news; Hayden Christensen, whom we saw in Obi-Wan Kenobi, is also joining the cast.

The Last Of Us

Release Date Undetermined (2023)

We can start to get excited for the further enhanced television adaptation of Naughty Dog and HBO's most famous video game, The Last of Us. The series has been adapted very closely to the original game. Joel (Pedro Pascal), a grizzled smuggler with a tragic past, is tasked with transporting a young girl (Ellie, played by Bella Ramsey) through dangerous American territory. We don't know how to wait until the end of 2023, but HBO executives have all approved the series.

Masters of the Air

The spiritual sequel to Band of Brothers and The Pacific - obviously not a chronological sequel, because as you know, World War II is over - it's about the events of the United States Army Air Forces.

The synopsis for the book, from which Masters of the Air is adapted, reads "a story of life in wartime England and German prison camps where tens of thousands of airmen spent part of the war". This description seems to match up with the leaked set photos as well. The cast of the series, starring Austin Butler, Callum Turner and Anthony Boyle, and supporting roles by Barry Keoghan, Ncuti Gatwa and Finn O'Shea, is quite ambitious. The producers are Spielberg, Tom Hanks and Cary Joji Fukunaga. We can't wait.

Fallout

Fallout, everyone's favorite roleplay video game series about the post-nuclear explosion era, will finally be adapted for the series within the next year. Filming is currently taking place in the USA. Little is known about the story; The screenplay is written by the writers of Westworld, with Walton Goggins playing a ghoul (a person irradiated to resist ageing, looks like a decomposed corpse), starring Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan.

So will it come in 2023? Considering the estimated CGIs that will appear in the series, it seems like a tough prospect, but we can always hope for the best.
