Hot Tea Recipes You Have to Try in Winter

Hot drinks are the best thing for cold days. While it is stormy and cold outside, we love drinking our hot drinks while watching our favorite movies in our warm home. Ingredients

8 whole peppercorns
1/2 teaspoon whole allspice
2 cardamom pods
1 cinnamon stick (3 inches)
4 whole cloves
8 tea bags
1 tablespoon honey
4 cups boiling water
2 cups 2% milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1-1/2 teaspoons confectioners' sugar
Ground allspice

Direction

Place the first five ingredients in a large bowl. With the end of a wooden spoon handle, crush mixture until aromas are released. Add tea bags, honey and boiling water; steep, covered, 6 minutes.
In a small saucepan, heat milk. Strain tea into a heat-proof pitcher; stir in milk and vanilla.
In a small bowl, beat cream until it begins to thicken. Add confectioners' sugar; beat until soft peaks form. Top servings with whipped cream; sprinkle with allspice.

Ingredients

1/2 cup 2% milk
1/2 cup water
1 teabag
1 1/2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp 1/8 ground cinnamon
1 tsp 1/8 ground ginger
1 tsp 1/8 ground nutmeg

Direction

Fill a microwave-safe mug half with milk and half with water. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Add tea bag and let steep 2 to 5 minutes. Remove and squeeze teabag. Stir in remaining ingredients. Serve immediately.

Ingredients

1 tsp Matcha
2 oz Hot Water
6 oz Steamed Milk

Direction

Sift Matcha into a cup. Melt matcha by adding 2 oz of hot water & stirring until matcha is a smooth paste. Pour 6oz steamed milk into a cup. Add melted matcha tea to the milk. Scoop foamy milk on top. If you want you can sprinkle with matcha dust or cocoa powder or add vanilla, almond, mint flavor.
